Our Gathered Pleat shades are carefully gathered by hand, they are then lined with a pleated taffeta lining and finished with a handmade self-trim.

Fabric Options

Natural Dupion Silk: Our 100% Dupion silk is a natural handwoven fabric, unmistakable by a richness and variety of colour and texture. The triangular structure of the fibre acts like a prism, refracting light and giving the surface of the fabric a lustrous sheen.

Lining Options

Taffeta Linings: Our taffeta linings are a crisp, smooth woven fabric made from a silk and acetate polyester mix. Ideal for use with our pleated shades.
