The Light Shade Studio at Decorex 2018

This year we exhibited at Decorex International for the very first time alongside our sister brand David Hunt Lighting. Our team have been designing and making luxury lampshades for over 30 years but The Light Shade Studio brand is an exciting new concept. You’ll have seen our lampshades featured with the iconic David Hunt Lighting designs for a number of years but we now have our own brochure, website and elegant new collections to enhance our client journey.

For the duration of 4 days, industry professionals from all over the world descend on Decorex to see the finest concepts in design and key collaborations, which made it the perfect place to launch our AW18 Latest Edit.

We have combined a selection of luxurious new fabrics with materials such as crystal and high-quality fringe to bring you a collection of products that suit both the traditional and modern world of interior design.

Our Gatsby shades caught the eye of many visitors with opulent fringe and variation of colourways. We styled Gatsby with two oversized Vaughn table lamps by David Hunt Lighting (shown with our Drum Shades in Copper Oxide and Ballet Pink) and a statement wall paper by the wonderful Linwood.

Antonio Cabrera visited us on the opening day of Decorex and took a shining to one of the characters on the stand!

Opposite Gatsby, we created a visual display of elegance with our Hurley pendants and wall lights. Statement bevelled crystal suspends from this striking shade with a rigid hard backed metallic lining in elegant silver or warm bronze. Perfect for adding a modern touch to your interior scheme.

Our lamp shades can be specified with a wide choice of materials and linings, allowing you to create a design that will accompany your style. In addition to this, we offer a bespoke service, meaning you can supply your own fabrics for a uniquely personalised design.
